John Morin

John Alex Morin February 12, 1953 - November 13, 2015 John Alex Morin of Robinson, businessman, civic leader, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend passed away Friday, November 13, 2015, at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 17, at St. Jerome Catholic Church with the Father Rakshaganathan Selvaraj as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 16, followed at 7:00 p.m., by the Rosary at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. John was born February 12, 1953, in Killeen, Texas, to Eliseo and Estelle Morin. He loved to hunt, fish, travel and sharing those activities with his family and friends. John was a mentor, advocate and friend who touched lives and set an example to many. He was known as the “go to” guy if anyone was having a tough day and talking to John could put a smile on their face. He was a faithful member of St. Jerome Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years and business partner, Carol Morin, of Robinson,Texas; one daugher, Amber Tijerina-Adams and husband, Esequiel, of San Antonio, Texas; one son, Nick Morin of Robinson; two sisters, Josiane Morin of Hutto, Texas and Christine Morin of Round Rock, Texas; two brothers, Peter Morin and wife, Anna, of Spicewood, Texas; Paul Morin and wife, Adriana, of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Bill Osterman, Billy Phillps, Don Stitt, Lonnie Fox, Chip Rhea, Jerry Hill, Jerry Hacker and Hampton Conlan. Honorary pallbearers are David Rivera, Scott Swope, Paul Morin Jr, Michael Morin, Justin Morin, Tom Torri, Clayton Rivera and Garrett Rivera. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in our “Memorial Guestbook” at www.WHBfamily.com.
