Funeral services for Elmer Feiock, 95, Aberdeen will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 16, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Battey officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Elmer died Thursday, November 12 at the Bethesda Home of Aberdeen. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, with family present from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., Aberdeen. Elmer Feiock was born on February 7, 1920 at Leola, SD to Fred and Emma (Kurle) Feiock. He attended country school near Leola in Arena Township. On July 4, 1944 he married Luella Steiger at Leola, SD. They made their home on a family farm until 1968 when they moved to Aberdeen where he owned and operated rental properties for thirty-two years. He also worked at safeguard for thirteen years. Luella died on February 12, 2012 at Aberdeen. He continued to make Aberdeen his home. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was a Trustee. He was a member of the Soil Conservation District and Arena School Board member. Grateful for having shared Elmer’s life are his children, Leslie (Connee) Feiock, Hartford, SD, Stanley (Lupe) Feiock, Sun City, AZ and Elmo (Myra) Feiock, Aberdeen, grandchildren, Jason, Jeff (Ann Marie), Jon (Megan) and Chad (Alison), great-grandchildren, Joshua, Rachael, Madelyn, Robert, Maria, Jack and Sophia, sister, Ruby (Elmer) Ketterling, Aberdeen. Elmer is preceded in death by his wife, Luella, parents, Fred and Emma Feiock, siblings, John Feiock, Ella Steinwandt and Leo Feiock.
