It is with heavy hearts we inform you that our beloved Mr. Raul Chang, age 87, passed away on August 9, 2019, at home. He was surrounded by his wife Ruth, daughter Mirna Lee Lay Lee, son-in-law Mark Lee, granddaughter Gwendolyn, and niece Norma. Raul is also survived by his grandson Gregory, daughter-in-law Eunice, and grandchildren Jose, Brian, Emily and Eric. He has family members in Guatemala and China. Raul was preceded in death by his son Raul Ricardo (Chato). Raul was born in San Pablo Jocopilas, Guatemala on October 30th 1931 and raised in China until 1959 when he returned to Guatemala. He met his beloved wife, Ruth, in 1965 and married her shortly after on May of 1966. They had 2 children and later were blessed with 6 grandchildren. Raul worked as manager of a fabric store until his retirement. In the year 2000, he moved to Houston, Texas to live with his family. He enjoyed his photography collection, fishing, traveling, Jackie Chan movies, gardening, and Facebook. Raul lived a full life. He was a loving and dedicated person to his family. He will be missed, but we know in our hearts that he knew he was loved by his family. Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 17th at 2:00 p.m. at McNutt Funeral Home on FM 1314 Conroe,TX.
