Shirlene Long, was born, April 30, 1961 in Wayne County, NC and she answered the Master’s call and departed this life on Aug 11, 2019 in Goldsboro, NC. Cherishing her memories are her parents, Shirley and Joseph Cox of NC, three children, Vernon Jay Long Jr. of NC, Eric Larmar Long of VA, and Lashanta Louise Walker of VA, brother, Terry Lemont Cox of NC, sister Geraldine Ford of VA, finance Tim Smith of NC, daughter in-law, Nneka Long, son-in-law Malik Walker and 6 grandkids and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends. Shirlene cooking and sense of humor will never be forgotten. She touched so many people lives and her presence will be missed!
