Mrs. Sarah L. Griffin, age 79, of 407 Woods Lake Road Greenville, South Carolina died Saturday, August 10, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Greenville South Carolina a daughter of Roxie Jackson and retired employee of the Carolina Blouse Company. She is survived by one son, Capernaum (Tracy) Griffin of Greenville, South Carolina; one daughter, Laura (Eddie) Smith of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; three brothers, William (Mamie) Dendy of Simpsonville, South Carolina. Charles Irby of Greenville, South Carolina and Reverend Thomas (Charita) Dendy of Simpsonville, South Carolina; three sisters, Virginia Jones of Woodruff, South Carolina, Martha (Sanders) Hamilton and Mary Irby both of Greenville, South Carolina; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Beasley Funeral Home Greenville Chapel. Interment Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at 6 Hudson Street Greenville, the home of her son.
