Bobby Gene Carleton, age 86 of Clinton, passed away at his home Saturday, August 10, 2019, following a long illness.  Bobby was born February 19, 1933 to Homer W. Carleton and Ada “Delozier” Carleton of Leesville, MO.  After graduating from high school, Bobby worked at several jobs; among them Management for Ford Motor Company, Operations Manager at Ecodine, Warehouse Manager at Pyramid, and spending over 50 years as an Auctioneer, over 30 of which spent with Kingsville Livestock Auction.  He also announced Rodeo and Horse Shows all over the region as well as the Draft Horse Show at the American Royal.  He married Nova June “Petentler” Srader on June 3, 1978 in Independence, MO.  Bobby was a member of Tebo Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge, Pleasant Hill Rodeo Club and several more. Survivors include his wife, Nova, of the home; children, Terri L. Moon and John R. Srader; grandchildren, Daniel R. (Crystal) Smalley, Stacey L. (Kevin) Taylor, Echo L. (David) Burkhart, Rebecca C. Moon, Mike (Edwina) Moon, Marty (Sherry) Moon, Haley Hill, and Hannah Hill (Cree) great-grandchildren, Kaenan, Kaleb, Bryan, Brittney and James; great-great-grandchildren, Serenity, Paisley and Micah; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; children, Deann Hill, Ricky L. Carleton, Robert D. Srader and Dixie L. Smalley; and a sister, Hazel Summers.  The family will received visitors at 1:00 PM at Tebo Baptist Church on Thursday, August 15, 2019.  A memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a burial of cremains at Tebo Cemetery.  The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to either Tebo Baptist Church or Twin Lakes Hospice and may be left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd St., Clinton, MO 64735.
