Wilma Lee Smith, 69, of Red House passed away Friday August 9, 2019. She was a 1968 graduate of Poca High School and retired from the Kroger Corporation. She attended Riverside Baptist Church in Red House.
Born July 31, 1950 she was the daughter of the late D.B. Dunlap and Naomi Comer Dunlap. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Smith and her brother, Douglas Dunlap.
Survivors include her children; Carla K. (Daniel) Hoskins of Nitro, Leslie (Scott) McTheny of Elkview, Christopher (Lori) James of Milton, Treasa (Joe) Vickers of Alkol and Kimberlee (Jason) Hodges of Red House; sister, Brenda Good of Poca; brothers, Robert Dunlap of Leon and Tom Dunlap of Florida; 8 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Raynes Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Buffalo WV 25033 or at www.raynesfuneralhome.com to help with funeral expenses.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday August 14, 2019 at Raynes Funeral Home (Eleanor Chapel) with Pastor Mike Hanna officiating. Burial will follow in Wade Chapel Cemetery, Red House. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
