Roberta "Bobbie" J. Usternul

Roberta J. "Bobbie" Usternul, 84, of Shreve, passed away peacefully Friday, August 9, 2019, at West View Manor, Wooster, OH.Bobbie was born August 10, 1934 in Cleveland, OH to the late Robert D. and Lois K. (Reamsnyder) Apple.  She married Hubert H. Usternul Oct. 24, 1968; he preceded her in death on June 26, 1993.Bobbie was employed by General Electric; a job she loved. She later worked for and retired from Buehler's Central Warehouse Kitchen. After retirement she enjoyed lunches with co-workers.  She loved going to new places and trying new and different foods, she definitely had a "sweet tooth.”  Being born in Cleveland and being an avid reader, she enjoyed keeping up with the history of Cleveland and would watch the Cleveland Indians and Browns, also the Ohio State Buckeye's, cheering each team on. Bobbie is survived by a son, Scott (Janel) Usternul of Wooster and a daughter, Roberta (Sam) Carpenter of Shreve; grandchildren, Rhett Usternul of Wooster, Victoria Carpenter of New Orleans, LA and Hunter Carpenter of Shreve; a brother, Chuck (Beth) Apple of FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Dean Apple. It was Bobbie's wishes there be no services, however the family asks you take a moment to remember the sassy and passionate woman she was. Schlabach Funeral Home, Shreve is assisting the family.
