Jean Howard

Jean Grissom Howard, age 80, of Petersburg, died Friday, August 9th, 2019 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Pulaski. She was a native of Maury County, the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary McDaniel Grissom. She was formerly employed at Moon Pencil and Walmart. and a member of the Hardin Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Tucker, brothers, Van Grissom, Larry Grissom, and William Grissom. She is survived by daughters, Kristie (Frank) Patton of Bell Buckle, Karen (Jimmy) Ferguson of Lewisburg, d Robin Covington of Athens, Alabam and Judi Jackson of Hammond, In. sons, Phillip (Melissa) Grissom of Lawrenceburg, Grady (Sheri) Holder Jr. of Petersburg, Ricky Holder of Hazel Green, Alabama, and Tony Holder of Alabama, sister, Thelma Frugoli of Pocatello, Idaho, thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 12th, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, August 11th, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Monday, August 12th, 2019 until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornersville High School. London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
