Anne F. Doherty
Anne F. Doherty, 81, of Lower Paxton Township and formerly of Philadelphia passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital. She was born on July 22, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Jacob and Florence (Maloney) Kern. Anne was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Harrisburg. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, as well as camping, often times combining the two together. Surviving are her husband James J. Doherty, a daughter Suzanne E. Ouly and her husband Joseph of Steelton, 7 grandchildren Patrick McFadden and his wife Maria, Jimmy McFadden, Ryan McFadden, Connor Ouly, Callie Ouly, Lily Ouly and Logan Ouly. She was preceded in death by son James J. Doherty, a granddaughter Delaney Rose Ouly, 2 brothers George Kern and James Kern. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Boulevard, Harrisburg, PA 17112. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday in the church. Memorial contributions in Annes honor may be made to M.A.D.D. 511 East John Carpenter Freeway, Irving, Texas 75602.
