Mary C. Robinson Obituary

Mary C. Robinson, 73, of Hamilton Township (Mercer County), New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Creston, Iowa, Mary spent her childhood in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. She graduated in 1968 from Iowa Wesleyan University with a B.A. in sociology. After marriage she relocated to the state of New Jersey where she made her home for 51 years. Mary was a Social Worker for the State of New Jersey for over 30 years before retiring in 2001. Mary was an avid gardener and spent every moment she could in her garden. She was very proud of the abundant vegetables and beautiful flowers she harvested yearly. She always had so many that she would often share her harvests with the neighbors and insisted family members take home as much as they could carry. She loved to listen to Jazz music. She was an avid fan of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, especially band member, Clarence Clemmons. She loved nothing more than a good mystery whether it was in a book or on TV. Mary cherished her cocker spaniels, Sandy and Cole. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Edna (Murley) Crouse; she is survived by her husband of 51 years, George William Robinson, Jr. aka Bill; her two daughters; Valerie Murphy and Melissa Robinson; her sons-in-law Robert Murphy and Angelo Arezzi; her three grandchildren, Savannah, Bree, and Calvin aka CJ; her two sisters Carol Behrens and Jeanne Feagins; her brother Stuart Crouse; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ 08690. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations are made in Marys name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society P.O. Box 4527 New York, NY 10163 or online at www.nationalmssociety.org. www.nationalmssociety.org Cremation will be held privately.
