Daniel D. Wilt age 75, beloved husband of Joan; dear father of Heather (John) Orsanic and Ethan (Elizabeth) Wilt; beloved uncle of Angie, Amanda, Mike, Katie, Jessica, Peter and Kristen; grandfather of Parker, Julia, Simon, Morgan, Alex, Justin, Henry, Bryce, Alexis and Colette; brother of Mark, Janet and Amy. Dan passed away Aug. 6, 2019 at Hospice House in Cleveland and was born April 2, 1944 in Akron, Ohio. Dan loved to read. His passions were classical music, opera and photography. He was self employed as an attorney, serving a community who might not normally be served. He was a Magistrate in Bratenahl and Grand River. He served on Bratenahl Village Council serving as President. He taught Sunday School and was proud of his work with Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries. He led a life of service to his church and community. Above all else, he loved being a grandfather. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Aug. 10 at 4:00 PM at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, where family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 3-4 PM. Contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, P.O. Box 72101, Cleveland, Ohio 44192 would be appreciated.
