Gastonia- Alvin Lloyd Klocke, 81 passed away peacefully at home on July 10, 2019. He leaves behind his loving wife Bonnie Klocke, sons Danny Klocke and wife Kelly, Jack McCoy Jr. and wife Shirley, daughter Jo Randall and husband Doug, 6 grandchildren Derek Valcourt, Tyler McCoy, Steven Klocke II, Rhea Klocke, Haley Klocke and Riley Klocke and 4 great-grandchildren Madelyn McCoy, Brandon Randall, Ayden Valcort, and Charlotte Klocke. Mr. Klocke is preceded in death by his mother Verna M. Lyons and son Steven P. Klocke. Al also leaves behind his beloved recliner and his beloved poodle Lucky. He served in the US Navy for 4 years and served on the USS Intrepid Aircraft Carrier. He worked 30 years for Gard/Wix corporation as an outside salesman. The family would like to thank Hospice of Gaston County for their excellent care and service, especially Gretchen, Anna and Katie who took such good care of Al, and Dr. Shenck, Kelleigh, Sheryl, Susan and Anne for treating him so wonderfully..You are all the best! Arrangements are private at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gaston Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
