To our deep sorrow it has pleased the Lord to take out of our midst our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, Dirk (Dick) Jansen on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Tina (Van Manen). Dear father of Reynold and Tina Jansen, Dorothy and Andy Stubbe and Evelyn and Dick Ariesen. Dear grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Brother to Dorothy and Arend Van Lagen, the late Maasje (2010) and Kees Van Manen, John and Ria Jansen and Reynold and Hennie Jansen. Predeceased by granddaughter Emily (2004). Family and friends will be received at the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION, 45 Main Street East, Norwich, Ontario, on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 9:30-10:15 AM. Funeral service will be held at the Church, Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 10:30 AM. All the Lord willing with Reverend A. H. Verhoef officiating. Interment at the C. G. Walker Cemetery (Quaker Street Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethany Care Home – Norwich.
