Eleanor L. Mitchell

Beverly - Eleanor L. (O’Brien) Mitchell 95, beloved wife of the late Arthur S. Mitchell, died peacefully, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at home. Born and raised in Salem on August 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late James and Bridget Ethel (Moran) O’Brien. She was a graduate of Salem High School. Many thanks to years of dedicated expert care from Mark Messenger MD and Beth Gentleman NP. Loving mother of seven children, Stephen S. Mitchell and wife, Stephanie, Christopher A. Mitchell and wife, Donna, John W. “Jack” Mitchell and wife, Sarah, Maryellen Mitchell and husband, Joe, Lori A. Mitchell, James E. Mitchell and wife, Kim and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Arthur S Mitchell Jr. Her funeral service will be held graveside, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 226 North St., Salem, Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
