Patrick M. McSherry, 81 of Greenwood, passed away June 6, 2019 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. Born October 13, 1937, Patrick was the son of the late Vincent and Mary (Brunker) McSherry. He was united in marriage to Ellen N. (Kalscheur) McSherry; she survives. Patrick was a former member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Miamisburg, Ohio. After moving to Greenwood, he attended St. Barnabas Catholic Church. He enjoyed a successful career in marketing for National Cash Register for more than 36 years. Patrick is also preceded in death by his siblings, Robert McSherry and Rosemary Swingle. Other survivors include his children, Michael A. (Kimberly) McSherry of San Diego, Pamela M. (Stephen) Sandler of Greenwood, and Jeffrey P. McSherry of Cincinnati; and ten grandchildren, Bram, Caroline, Sean, Fiona, Lindsey (Alex), Katherine, Patrick, Luke, Kelsey, and Sabrina. Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Patrick McSherry from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. Morning prayers will begin 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
