Glen Ray Crabtree

Glen Ray Crabtree, 73, of Marmaduke, passed away Thursday at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born on January 9, 1946 to parents Hubert and Opal Crabtree . Glen was always joking and full of life. He loved golfing and fishing with his best buddies. He always looked forward to the family fishing trips. His greatest love was his family. Glen loved spending time with his daughter and grandsons. He loved his two grandsons, Tristen and Tyler, with all of his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Melvin Crabtree; sister-in-law, Sondra Crabtree; along with lifelong friends, Dale Brown, Charles Scott, Jim Diggs, and Phillip Martin. Survivors include his daughter, Missy (Robby) Arnold; two grandsons, Tyler (Carly) Arnold, of Milan, Missouri and Tristen Arnold, of Marmaduke; great granddaughter, Braylee Arnold, of Milan, Missouri; sisters, Glenda (Butch) Whelchel and Sue (Johnny) Horten; brothers, Carl Crabtree and Wes Crabtree, all of Paragould. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00-2:00pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow beginning at 2:00 pm with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will be at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Alan Shelton, Rick Weaver, Jack Hamilton, Harold Diggs, Herby Wright, and Danny Mangrum.
