Charles F. Kranz age 82 of Bloomington died peacefully on May 22, 2017. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Ann, May 23, 2012; parents, Hubert and Ellen Kranz. Charles was born June 1, 1934 and was united in marriage September 5, 1955. He served in Korea and Japan as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps and worked as a plumber in local #15. Survived by children, Michele (Steve) Lemons, Mike Kranz, Scott (Kay) Kranz, Mary Kranz, Sue (Jeff) Groen; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Funeral service Thursday May 25, 2017 9:30 a.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. So. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m. and ½ hour prior to service.
