Michael Devin Frederick

Michael Devin Frederick, 58, of Lancaster, and formerly of Manheim, was received into God’s Kingdom on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Shirley L. Greenawalt Frederick and the late Horace G. Frederick. Mike graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1973; and worked for over 30 years as a crew leader weatherizing houses for the Lancaster Housing Development Corporation. His interests included: classic cars especially, Corvettes, listening to classic rock, history, especially World War II events and political humor. Surviving is a sister, Cerri Shelton of Palmyra, two brothers: Scott Frederick of Windsor, Gary Frederick of Downingtown, and a niece, Aimee Shelton of Nashville, TN. Mike will be remembered by his family and friends for his dedicated work ethic, generous spirit, and dry sense of humor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:30 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Michael’s memory to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
