Larry Hayes

Larry "Happy" Hayes, 55, of Hannibal, passed away at 10:29 PM Friday, March 1, 2019 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2019 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Rev. C.M. Cole will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of services, Friday at the funeral home. Larry was born July 13, 1963, in Hannibal, MO to Robert and Nadine Ingram Hayes. Larry is survived by his fiancé, Ronna Earnshaw,3 children, Ashley Hayes of Hannibal, MO, Karlie Hayes of Lentner, MO and Gina Hayes of the home. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Terry Hayes (Sally) of Hannibal, MO, Dale Hayes of Hannibal, MO and David Hayes of Alabama and 2 sisters, Joyce Allen of Hannibal, MO and Lisa Runyon (Calvin) of Hannibal, MO. Other survivors include 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Bobby Hayes and 1 sister, Darla Graham. Larry recently retired from Ennis Traffic Paint in Saverton, MO after a long illness. Larry's passion was restoring classic cars. Attending auctions, camping and time shared with family and friends were times Larry enjoyed. Nicknamed "Happy" because Larry always had a smile on his face, he will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. Larry attended the New Hope Gospel Center.
