Charles Eugene Clayborn

Charles Eugene Clayborn 72 of Pikeville, KY passed from this earthly life Friday March 1, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Ky. Charles was born Sunday September 29, 1946 in Williamson, WVA a son of the late Preston and Myrtle Elizabeth (Wells) Clayborn. Charles was a retired coal miner and member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Other than his parents Charles was preceded in death by one daughter Cynthia Eugenina Clayborn; two brothers Preston and Jimmy Clayborn; and two sisters Mary Lee Campbell and Ester Gilmore. Charles was survived by his wife Diana Clayborn; four sons Charles Fredrick Clayborn and his wife Marlo, Timothy Lee Clayborn and his wife Mande, Charles Eugene Clayborn II, and Nathan Scott Peak and his wife Mandy; two daughters Rebecca Lynn Dixion and her husband David and Shaunna Leigh Hurley and her husband Benji; three brothers Bill Clayborn and his wife Barbara, Marvin Clayborn, Michael Clayborn and his wife Wilhelmina; and three sisters Queen Brown, Sarah Dotson and her husband Danny, and Mavis Savoy; along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles leaves behind a host of family and friends to mourn his passing. Charles Eugene Clayborn will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
