Peggy L. Turner "The Lunch Lady"
Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away on Friday, March 01, 2019. Age 65 years. Peggy was born on March 1, 1954, daughter of the late Joseph and Adeline (Sauve) Frasle, in Saginaw. She retired from Merrill Community Schools where she worked as the "Lunch Lady" for more than 37 years. She was a member of the Hemlock/Merrill V.F.W. 7302 Womens Auxiliary. Peggy enjoyed ceramics, making her lawn beautiful, gardening, reading, collecting butterflies and spending time with her family. Peggy will be missed by her children, Joe (Julie) Turner, Jennifer Olivarez and Carrie (Mark) Ade; her grandchildren, Andrew, Marisa, Brazil and Lilly; her great granddaughter, Emma; her sisters and brother, Jeanette Wuolukka, Marlene Wenzel, Connie (Daniel) Maquet and Phil (Debi) Frasle; her special friend, Kevin Hutfilz; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Lisa Frasle and the father of her children, Dick Turner. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at W. L. Case and Company, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill. Rev. Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. I was honored to work with Peggy throughout her years at Merrill Elementary. Her sense of humor, love for the students, and love for her family shone from within her. She was a wonderful, caring and clever woman. God bless her and all who loved her.
