Della Marie Loy, 78, of Gore, VA died on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Winchester Medical Center. Marie was born on February 3, 1941 in Wardensville, WV, a daughter of the late Frances E. and Elizabeth Conard. She worked as a custodian for the Frederick County Schools and was a member of the Faith Revival Center Church in Albin, VA, the Eagles and the Moose Lodge both located in Winchester, VA. Della loved to shop, garden and most of all being with her family. Marie married Glenn S. Loy on January 14, 1960. Mr. Loy died on July 13, 2002. Surviving is a son: Carles E. “Jake” Loy and his wife Charlene of Augusta, WV; two daughters: Brenda L. Yost and her husband “Mutch” of Berkeley Springs, WV; Donna L. Clark and her husband Kenny of Gore, VA; a brother: John Conard of Gore, VA; a sister: Mary Colley of Bunker Hill, WV; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren & one great-great-grandchild. A private graveside service is being planned for a later date in the Gainesboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Marie to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
