Anna May Vess

Anna May Vess, 101, passed away Dec 11, 2015. She was born on Sept. 21, 1914 in Wellsville, Ohio the daughter of Mary C. Heitman Horner and Charles H. Horner. Anna May has been a member of Church of the Covenant for 38 years. She graduated from Wellsville High School in 1933 and graduated form Ohio Business School in East Liverpool, OHio. Anna May was employed at Hercules Engines for 24 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lyndale K. Vess; daughter Kaye Lynn Lambert; and sisters Helen Stewart, Erla Petty, Lola DeVaul and Kathryn Dailey. Anna May is survived by her grandson Eric G. Lambert: daughter-in-law, Janet Lambert; son-in-law, Phillip Lambert M.D.; nieces Mary Lou Brown, Cindy Brown and Cathy Casey; and nephew Rick Brown. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Church of the Covenant (3014 Fulton Dr NW Canton 44718) from 10am to 11am with a memorial servcie to follow at 11am with Pastor Karin Wright officiating.
