Mac Justus, age 72, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, December 10, 2015. He was born on January 15, 1943 in Batesville, the son of Yancy Matthews Justus and Mandy Della Winters Justus. On May 10, 1968, he married Ernestine Minzlaff Justus who preceded him in death on July 1, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Freeda Clark. Mac was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was an insurance agent for Allstate for many years. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #380 and Hot Springs Country Club. Mac was a doting grandfather and avid golfer. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Kyle Hatfield of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Grace Kathryn Hatfield, Hank Ryan Hatfield and Ava Claire Hatfield, all of Little Rock; his brother, Dale Justus of Hot Springs; four nephews and their spouses, Jay and Dolores Justus of Hot Springs, Preston and Janet Clark of Imboden, Joe and Ann Justus of Grenada, Mississippi and Mark and Terry Clark of Imboden; and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 13, 2015 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Jay Justus officiating.
