Kathy Booher

Kathy Booher, 57, of Graytown, OH died Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 5, 1961 in Springfield, OH the daughter of David and Jeanne (Dailey) Stickel. She married Robert Booher on September 20, 1984 and he survives. Kathy was a 1979 graduate of Tecumseh High School and a 1983 graduate of The Ohio State University. She continued working with OSU as the Cooperative Extension Educator for Ottawa County for 26 years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge. She loved working with kids and was active in 4-H. She enjoyed camping and crafting and was an avid Buckeyes Fan. Surviving are her husband: Robert; daughter; Lauren (Steve) Martikan of Graytown; son: Rob (Alisha) Booher of Columbus; grandchildren: Sophia, Kennedy, Kyleigh and Reagan; mother: Jeanne Sutton of Oak Harbor; sisters: Holly (Chuck) Gates of Tiffin, Sarah (Frank) Erckman of Sandusky, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father: David Stickel and step-father Alva Sutton. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, October 26, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, 450 N. Rocky Ridge Rd., Rocky Ridge. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm at Crosser Funeral Home, 301 N. Locust St. Oak Harbor, OH. Interment will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions may be given in Kathys memory to 4-H c/o OSU Extension Office, 240 W. Lake St. #C, Oak Harbor, OH 43449.
