Merton R. Kilpatrick, Sr., 77, of Palmer Township, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at his home. Born October 19, 1938 in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late Herbert Sr. and Katie Pyatt Kilpatrick. He and his wife, the former Judy A. Christian, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Merton retired from the former Riegel Papermill. He enjoyed following high school sports, especially Easton. Surviving in addition to his wife Judy are three sons, Merton Jr. and his wife Holly, of East Bangor, Dean, of Easton, and David and his wife Shiela, of Oklahoma; three daughters, Patti, of Easton, Sherry, of North Carolina, and Sandy, of Bethlehem; two sisters, Shirley Ehrie, of Wind Gap, and Lois Kilpatrick, of Wilson Borough; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Herbert Jr., Eugene and James, and three sisters, Katherine, Georgianna "Honey" and Arlene. A memorial service will be held at 11am Wednesday in River of God Fellowship Church, 813 Reynolds Street, Easton. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
