Jean Bundy, 90, of Zanesville, died at 7:54 P.M. on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born April 20, 1928, in Sonora, a daughter of the late Edward Ray and Ethel Grace Bell Ireland. She worked at Brockway Glass and was a member of Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church. Jean was an avid bowler, bowling in several leagues, and loved playing Canasta and Euchre. She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Fred) Welch; a son, Ron (Melody) Bundy; four grandsons, Nick and Tom Welch and Matt and Luke Bundy; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Bryce Ireland; and a sister, Edith Galloway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer who died in 2002; two brothers, Bill and Red Ireland; and a sister, Shirley Dean. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service of 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. She will be laid to rest at Cumberland Cemetery, Cumberland.
