Loyd Ray Brannum

Loyd Ray Brannum, Webbers Falls resident, died Monday July 16, 2018 in Tulsa. Loyd was born December 23, 1956 at Boise City, Oklahoma he was the son of Charlie Lawrence Brannum and Leona Ocie May Brannum. Loyd would do anything for his family whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed walking singing, and eating. Loyd attended Buckhorn Freewill Baptist regularly where he fellowshipped with the men of the church. Loyd was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Charlene. He is survived by his mother; two daughters, Candy Sue O'Hara and husband, Michael of Lawton, Oklahoma, Amanda Blankenship and husband, John of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Dylan, Jacob, and Rebecca; three sisters, Jean Voyles and husband, Mike of Hardesty, Oklahoma, Martha Davis and husband, Jerry of Hooker, Oklahoma, Leona Townley and husband, John of Stringtown, Oklahoma; five brothers, Benny Brannum and wife, Maryjean of Mendora, North Dakota, Steven Brannum and wife, Donna of Glidden, Iowa, David Brannum of Watonga, Oklahoma, Jerry Brannum, and Dickie Bannum; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Cinnamon. Funeral services for Loyd will be held at 10:00 am Saturday July 21, 2018 at Buckhorn Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Ray Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at McLain Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Webbers Falls. Pallbearers will be Ethan Hayes, Dean Eudy, Phil Coppin, Steve Garvin, Billy Calvert, and Robbie Henderson. Steve Herriman, Terry Hayes, Bobo Bunch, Toney Gayner, Louie Fritts, and Bob Flood, will be serving as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Buckhorn Freewill Baptist Church.
