Frances Marie Whitfield Powell was born September 1, 1946, to AD Whitfield and Christine Mullins Holts in Rosebud, TX. She attended school at Wilson White in Rosebud. She was a member of Abundant Grace Tabernacle of Temple. She worked at Fort Hood Military Base as a Cook for many years.
Survivors are: daughters, Tanya Gilchrist and Hope Bennett of Killeen, and Sheila Bains of Dallas; sisters, Barbara White of Temple, and Evelyn Adams of Killeen; brothers, Dennis Holts of Rosebud, Timothy Holts and Bobby Holts of Temple, Charles Mullins of Killeen, and Billy Mullins of Houston; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
