Peggy J. Adams

<p>Peggy Joanne Adams, daughter of the late James and Henrietta Adams, was born on December 12, 1946 in Chester Pennsylvania.</p><p><br></p><p>She was educated in the Chester Upland Center School District. She had always had an interest in the medical field and became employed by Chester Crozer Medical Center for over 30 years. She also received her Certified Nursing Assistance certificate. Peggy also enjoyed working at the 5th street bar as a bar maid.</p><p><br></p><p>Peggy was affectionately called “Jo” by family and friends. She was very loving to everyone and loved children. She had many adoptive children and foster children who she took care of like they were her own.</p><p><br></p><p>She was the matriarch of the family, the rock that kept the family together. She always hosted numerous family events and outings. She was famous for her “Six Flags”, and “Kings Dominion” trips. She enjoyed seeing her family getting together and having fun.</p><p><br></p><p>Her hobbies were going to the mall shopping for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was one of the founding members for the “Disco Ladies”. She was an avid James Brown fanatic.</p><p><br></p><p>Leaving to cherish her memory: daughters; Keisha Cottman, Cshahmiykaah Turner. Son; Kaciene Pleasant (Lindsey), granddaughters; Nhyluh and Javayah Mathis, Kylie,Que’junna, Kha’miyah, Mailey and Kennedy Pleasant grandsons; Zyaid Strawbridge, Cye’u Mathis, Anthony Cottman, Rhi’ue Wesley 1 niece Shaquese Brodie nephews; Andre, Amir, Aaron Brodie, Keon Brodie (Renata) Ronald (Kia) and Daron Kennedy, Aphernee Brodie, Ivan Thomas, Adoptive daughters; Yvonne Parker, Marsia Potts, godson; LaMar Potts and a host of family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her daughter Chaka (Tosh) Adams, sisters; Martha Jean Brodie, Brenda Thomas, niece; Deborah Brodie, nephew; Andre Brodie Sr.</p><p><br></p>
