Dennis “Denny” DeVries was born at home on October 21, 1942 in Ogilvie, Minnesota to John and Jennie DeVries as the eighth of nine children. He went to heaven to be with the Lord on December 10, 2015. Denny moved to Colorado in 1962 after high school where he met and married Michele Norden of Denver, Colorado. He worked at IBM for many years. His interests were family, church, and golf (not always in that order!!). He was an entrepreneur, a hard-working, self-sacrificing, God-fearing, generous man. He is survived by his wife, three siblings, four children, fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and countless family and friends. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor by his church family where he served as Deacon, Northern Ridge Baptist Church, at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 18 at Vista Ridge Academy on 3100 Ridge View Drive in Erie, Colorado.
