Mary Mathews

Dateline Bordentown Mary E. Mathews, 91 passed away peacefully on Monday March 16th 2015 at the Genesis Health Care Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, she was a life long resident of Bordentown. Mary spent her time volunteering for many organization including the St. Mary’s School PTO, St. Mary’s Altar Rosary Society and the Bordentown Nutrition Center. But her greatest joy in life was her family and friends. She will be remembered as a kind hearted lady who would help anyone in need. The Daughter of the William And Mary Jane Heisler, she is predeceased but her husband, Charles W. Mathews JR., her sons, Charles “Chip” W. Mathews III, Michael L. Mathews, Timothy J. Mathews, her son-in-law, Michael Lovering, her brothers, William, Robert, Joseph, John and Melford Heisler, she is survived by her son, William R. Mathews, her daughter, Anne Marie Lovering, her grandchildren, David and Chuck Mathews and Michele Lieggi, and many nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of The Resurrection will be Celebrated on Monday March 23rd 2015 11:00am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00 ~ 8:00pm and Monday Morning 9:30 ~ 10:30am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks Bordentown NJ (609) 298-0128.
