Arnold Baruch Simon passed away at his home with his wife and son at his side.
He grew up in Chicago and attended college and medical school at Northwestern University. He was a senior resident at the V.A. Hospital in Hines, Illinois, and served in WW II as a medical officer, caring for the severely injured. After the War, he worked as a general surgeon in Chicago, and retired to Florida in 1985 where he spent many happy years fishing.
He is survived by his wife Ruth and his son Mark.
A celebration of his life with family and friends will be held in the near future.
