Jolene Marie Kennison

Jolene Marie Kennison, 69, a resident of Livermore, went home to join her Heavenly Father, Friday, April 13th at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, with her loving family at her side, following several years of failing health. She was born August 9, 1948 in Jay, the daughter of Joel Bushie, Sr. and Dorothy (Birney) Bushie. She was a 1967 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On July 9, 1967 at Fayette Baptist Church she married her husband 50 years, James Kennison. Through the years Jolene had worked in the cafeteria at Kents Hill School, Foster Manufacturing, DeCoster’s Egg Farm, selling Avon and baking cakes. She enjoyed following her children and grandchildren’s activities, and talking on the phone with family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Jolene dedicated herself to caring for her special needs daughter Deborah for 40 years, selflessly until her health prevented her from doing so. She was a member of the Wayside Bible Baptist Church since 1971, was the leader of the AWANA Children’s Program, and helped with vacation bible school. She is survived by her husband, James Kennison of Livermore, her son, Tim Kennison of Augusta, three daughters, Deborah Kennison of Mechanic Falls, Rebekah Kennison of Rumford, and Martha Murray and her husband Jonathan of Marietta, GA, 3 grandchildren, Payton Kennison, Kooper Poisson, and Makenzie Murray, sisters, Joan Bailey of Livermore Falls, Mary Walsh and her husband Gerald of FL, Jean Gray and her husband Robert of Fayette, and June Glover of Poland, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Joel Bushie, Jr., James Bushie and John Bushie. Visitation will be from 4-7PM on Saturday, April 14th at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Interment Moose Hill Cemetery, 31 Record Road, Livermore Falls, Maine at a later date.
