George Edwin Lisenby

George Edwin Lisenby age 77 of Richmond, Indiana died Tuesday June 16, 2015. George was born in Miranda City, Texas to the late Quincy Paul and Mildred Iris Lisenby. He was retired from Perfect Circle and veteran of the National Guard. He was a member of the NRA, an avid Civil War hobbyist and loved antique cars. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a daughter Connie Denise Lisenby and one sister Nelda J. Walker who died in 1976. He is survived by his wife Lorain Wilds Lisenby, his children Marilyn Tevis of Galt, California, Fonda Wilds of Richmond, IN, Tami Blalock of Shoals, NC and Blaine VanWinkle of Richmond, IN: four brothers Johnny Lisenby, who went MIA in Korea in 1952, Vannah Lisenby of West Monroe, LA, Charles R. Lisenby of Richmond, IN and Joseph G. Lisenby of Palmer, AK: 11 grandchildren Stacey Schrock, Tara Staver, Nita Gayheart, Luc Shull, Natisha Lisenby, Phillip Blalock, Michelle Lisenby, Steven Tevis, Stevona Tevis, Anissa Tevis and Kyler Tevis: and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services services will be 2pm Saturday June 20, 2015 at Lakes Funeral Home, Berea. Burial will follow in the Wilds Cemetery in Jackson County. Visitation will be Saturday from 12 noon- 2pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.lakesfuneralhome.com
