Marjory Fern Sitzer
<p>Peacefully at Brierwood Gardens on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the age of 93, after a beautiful life well-lived. Gone to join her beloved husband George. Predeceased by her sisters Jean Dzsudzsak and Dorothy Yeandle. Sadly missed and deeply loved by her extended family. Fern lived a fulfilled life serving at the Canadian Embassy in Bogota Columbia, working at Massey Verity, Stelco and Muttarts. Travel, ballet, theatre and opera were her passions. Fern served on the executive board of the Brantford Opera Guild and IAAP, taught Tai Chi and volunteered at the Sanderson Center and United Way. Fern was a life-long supporter of the Stratford Festival and Canadian Opera Society. Heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Brierwood Gardens for the exceptional and loving care. A private family reception has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Dennis Toll Funeral Home. Donations to the Brantford Opera Guild gratefully appreciated.</p>Obituary
