Miriam Herchenhahn Norton, 80, of Oak Grove passed away on November 15, 2018 at her home. Services will be Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 3 P.M. First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, followed by burial in First Baptist Church of Oak Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Norton attended First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. She loved to collect coins and to teach Children’s Sunday School in years past. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. O. and Melba Grissom Herchenhahn, Sr. and her brother, C. O. Herchenhahn, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Thurman Norton of Oak Grove; her daughter, Tammy (David) Davisson of Oak Grove; two grandchildren Hunter (Melody) Davisson, and Chloe Davisson; two step grandchildren, Callie (Chad) Flowers, and Kelsie (Michael) Kelly; her sister, Melleen (Gerald) Moore; her sister in law, Charlotte Herchenhahn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, and from 2 P.M. until service on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove.July 30, 1938 - November 15, 201807/30/193811/15/2018
