Watson, Elizabeth “Betty” – Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Betty, loving wife of Gordon. Loved mother of Robert, Moira and Gillian. Dear grandmother of Rory, Scott, Mitchell, Kaitlin, Nicholas, Elliot and great grandmother to Jade and Calvin. Sister of Margaret, Harold and the late James, Bert and Ronald. Betty will be missed by her nieces, nephews, and many friends in Wilmot Creek and at Fosterbrooke. A Celebration of Betty’s Life will take place at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S., Newcastle (just north of 401 at lights) on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 12 p.m. with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service.
