Robert Kreoger

Robert Kreoger, age 86, of Palmyra, Il. died Monday morning (June 5, 2017) at Carlinville Health Care. He was born June 15, 1930 near Modesto, Il. son of the late Sylvester and Ethel Pierson Kreoger. He married Lucille Swagerty on August 26, 1951 in Scottville, Il. and she survivies. Also surviving are sons, John Kreoger (Karen) of Palmyra, Il., Paul Kreoger (Beverly) of Lincoln, Il., David Kreoger of Lake St. Louis, Mo., Mark Kreoger (Eleanor) of Champaign, Il., Michael Kreoger (Tracy) of Modesto, Il.; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; one son, Stephen Kreoger; one sister, Roberta Whitlock; and one brother, Edward Kreoger. Robert farmed in the Scottville/Palmyra area for many years. He was a member of the Modesto Methodist Church and was an Army veteran serving in Korea. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday (June 10, 2017) at Stults-Neece Chapel in Palmyra, Il. Burial will be in Virden Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the chapel.
