Louise Hattie (Smith ) Tyson

Mrs. Louise Hattie Smith Tyson, 82, of Sylvester, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2015 in the chapel of Hall Hall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Born September 16, 1933 in Owensboro, Kentucky, Mrs. Tyson was the daughter of the late Alfred and Nora Bracher Smith. She was a loving homemaker who loved all her family dearly. She loved her Lord, going to church and singing gospel music. She also enjoyed playing bingo and cross word puzzles. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tyson was preceded in death by her husbands, Bert Dato and William Paul Tyson; son, Eugene Ross Ragsdale, Jr.; grandson, Marc Dato; brothers, Paul E. “Gene” Smith and John Smith and sister, Ona Mae Crask. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Marie Dato of Sylvester; daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Frank Cabatit of Albany and Robin Felhaber of Canada; sister, Betty Dotson; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Hall Hall Funeral Home.
