James Clyde “Jimmy” Duncan, 48, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his residence in Washington, D.C. Born Nov. 6, 1969 in Kokomo, he was a 1988 graduate of Center Grove High School and studied at George Washington University. At age 16, he was diagnosed with cancer and that continued to create many challenges throughout his life. He crossed paths with all walks of life and was such an inspiration to so many. Jimmy had a great sense of humor and he enjoyed traveling, studying abroad and experiencing life. He is loved and will be forever missed by his mother, Martha (Williamson) Duncan; siblings, Julie Mingus (Greg), Marcia Pashley (Tim), Melissa Nevitt (Jeff) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Duncan and brother, Larry Duncan. Memorial visitation will be from 1-3:00 PM on Saturday, November 3 at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch followed by the memorial service at 3:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery.
