Deloris “Lucille” Koch, 92, of Arkansas City, KS passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Presbyterian Manor. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2018, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may greet the family 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Pastor Stephen Butler will officiate. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery. Lucille was born February 13, 1926, to Lester C. and Emma L. (Alberts) Boyles in Missouri. She was reared and educated in Arkansas City, graduating from Ark City High School in 1945. On May 23, 1946, she married Allen J. Koch in Winfield. The couple made their home in Arkansas City. Lucille was a home maker and house wife. She loved to travel with her family, and enjoyed playing golf and sewing. Lucille also helped with the city and county elections, she volunteered for the Red Cross for many years, was a member of the Railroad Ladies Association, and served as the president for the Springhill Ladies Club for several years. Survivors include her son Robert Allen Koch and spouse Steve Siegel of Surprise, AZ; daughter Kathryn Aubert and companion Richard of Wichita, KS; brother Murry Boyles of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren Annie Gillissen and Rodney Koch, and six great-grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Allen, sister Jean and Anita. A memorial has been established from the American Cancer Society.
