William "Bill" R. Shamblin

William “Bill” R. Shamblin - age 81 of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Bill served in the United States Navy and retired from Oak Ridge National Lab as a Health Physics Tech. Preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn; parents, Raymond and Lou Rossburg Shamblin. Bill is survived by his son, William Ray Shamblin, Jr., along with extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, October 24th at Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Scott Layer and Rev. Audrey Madigan officiating. Family and friends will then proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
