Bobby Ray Fisher Obituary

Bobby Ray Fisher, 78 of Nicoma Park, died October 20, 2018 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was born July 10,1940 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Will and Ollie Lee Hales Fisher. Bob was a graduate of Duncan High School and served eight years in the Oklahoma National Guard. He retired from Fleming’s Foods in OKC. He married Ruth Ann Stewart on Aug 9, 1969.His greatest joy was watching his three sons as they played ball and fished together. He loved and enjoyed his grandchildren, each was special to him and brought their own special delight and happiness into his life. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Pete and James Fisher; sisters, Claudine Jones and Geneva Overstreet, also preceded in death by his infant daughter, Nina Lee Fisher. Bob is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Ruth, of the home; three sons, Travis Ray Fisher and wife, Brandi of Edmond, Ronnie Fisher of Nicoma Park, Donnie Fisher and wife, Kim of Midwest City; six grandchildren, Isabelle, Kolton, Kaden, Austin, Kylee Fisher and Sheyenne Spence; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel, Midwest City. Donations may be made in Bob’s honor to Encompass Hospice (www.ehhl.com).
