Frank E Brandt

Frank E. Brandt, 89, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018. He was born January 30, 1929 in Aurora, Indiana, son of the late Franklin "Butch" and Helen (Folke) Brandt. Frank was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church and Aurora American Legion. He was past captain of Greendale Fire Dept and avid collector of John Deere Antique Tractors. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. He was a Aurora High School graduate and a state qualifier in track in 1947. He loved being grandpa.. He worked as a operator at Chevron. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, LaVern Brandt; son, Jeff (Chris) Brandt of Aurora, IN; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Brandt of Greendale, IN, Laurie Brandt of Aurora, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin "Butch" and Helen Anna Brandt. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Greendale, IN. Funeral services will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1:30 pm, with Pastor Barry Riehle officiating.
