Jerry Lawson, 68, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017. He was born March 15, 1948 in Wartburg, Tennessee. Jerry was an avid fisherman and collector of tools. He loved being grandpa.. He worked as a commercial upholsterer. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Lee Lawson; son, Jerry Lawson; 2 daughters, Miranda Lawson, Sherrie (Phillip) Messer; 3 brothers, David (Ellen) Lawson, Willie Lawson, Raymond (Becky) Lawson; 4 sisters, Lois Danatelli, Violet Lawson, Brenda Andi, Diane Sutton; and 2 grandchildren, Gabe Messer, Grayson Messer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lawson; 3 sisters, Carol, Sharon, Anna; and 2 brothers, Steve and Junior. Graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the Family.
