Vyneta Louise Combs Allen age 81, of Bloomburg, Texas went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at her residence. Vyneta was born April 14, 1937 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Clyde and Florence Combs. She was retired from Alford Refrigerated Warehouse; and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time dancing, bowling, sewing and traveling. She loved her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Allen, Jr.; a sister, Betty Laswell; great-granddaughter, Sadie Lishman; and her parents. She is survived by three sons, Billy Cook and wife Cherie of Keller, Texas, Bobby Cook and wife Lynn of Watauga, Texas, Bryan Cook and wife Kelly of Bloomburg, Texas; two step-daughters, Jeanene Quan of Arlington, Texas, Darlene Allen of Arlington, Texas; a brother, Ed Combs of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three sisters, Dorce Bench of Irving, Texas, Frances Hunt of McKinney, Texas, Pam Bradley of Nashville, Tennessee; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church, Bloomburg, Texas under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. David Baxley officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service. Interment will be in Enon Cemetery.
