AILEEN M. GILMOUR

AILEEN M. GILMOUR (nee Fowler) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 22, 2018. She was born September 6, 1924 in Springdale, Pa. She married the love of her life, James Gilmour on July 28, 1945 and lived most of her life in Willowick, Ohio. Aileen will be remembered as an inspiration to many, both spiritually and emotionally. She held many distinguished titles; loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, spiritual leader, artist, author and friend. She retired from Reliance Electric in 1986. Aileen deeply loved God and her church. She was a Stephen Minister at St. Mary Magdalene Church for many years. She was especially proud of the three books she wrote and published: Fun in the Christmas Village, Valley of Nevaeh and Felix and Anna, A Love Story. She will be greatly missed by her loving children; Nancy (Eugene) Harden, JoAnn (Jerry) Hoffarth, Marianne (James Paul) Tobin, Pat (Karey) Gilmour, Bill (Diane) Gilmour, Betty Rauscher; her sister; Annajoy Whitley; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. She was preceeded in death by her husband, James Gilmour; son Jamie Gilmour; parents Anna and Felix Fowler and brothers James (Bud) Fowler and Felix Fowler. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, July 27 at St. Mary Magdalene Church 460 East 321 St., Willowick, Ohio at 10:30 A.M. Interment All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. (Willoughby) Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Contributions can be made to St. Mary Magdalene Church. Special thanks for the loving care she received from Salida Woods and Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Aileen was a best friend and mentor. She cared for all, especially her beautiful. family.
We know in FACT that she has a SPECIAL place in Heaven. Our weekly visits over the
