Shirley Sapp Misenheimer , 62, of Rockwell, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at her home in Rockwell, NC. She was born July 5, 1956 in Salisbury, NC to Grace Bost Sapp and the late James "Jim" Sapp. Shirley worked as a Shipping Coordinator for Southern Pipe in New London. Shirley was a member of Organ Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going to Cherokee, traveling with and listening to her husband play music, and spending time with her family. Shirley is survived by her husband of over 44 years, Tim Misenheimer , whom she married June 9, 1974; son, Jeremy Misenheimer and wife Cammie of Rockwell; grandsons, Colin White Misenheimer and Evan Parker Misenheimer; sisters, Susan Kerns and husband Jerry and Beth Brown and husband Johnny all of Rockwell; and brother, Jimmy Sapp of Rockwell. The family will greet friends and relatives on Sunday, July 15, 2018, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 16, 2018, in the Organ Lutheran Church, Salisbury, NC, with Rev. Carlin Ours, officiating. Burial will follow in the Organ Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Organ Lutheran Church Memorial Fund 1515 Organ Church Road Salisbury NC 28146.
